Press Conference: New Vision for Bulgaria-China Trade Relations
Global trade is in the final stage of a profound transformation: added value trade is moving from goods to services.
The Bulgaria China Chamber of Commerce is to direct trade flows between the two countries.
To benefit from the changing tides in global trade, Bulgarian companies must begin exporting more services to China. To set the foundations for this, Ivo Ganchev (Vice-Chairman, BCCCI) held a press conference in Beijing and gave interviews to 10+ media outlets about Bulgaria’s participation in the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
He presented a new vision for the commercial relations between China and Bulgaria, making proposals for cooperation in four service sectors: fintech, tourism, medicine and smart infrastructure.
His vision was welcomed by major Chinese media outlets (see links below) and authorities and it was featured on the website of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (https://cif.mofcom.gov.cn/site//html/beijing/html/74247/2021/7/28/1627438536029.html).
In September, BCCCI will realize this vision by organizing the participation of Bulgarian companies in CIFITS.
