In-depth Media Interview on China–Azerbaijan Strategic Relations
On 26 April 2025, Dr. Ivo Ganchev gave an in-depth interview to leading Azerbaijani media outlet Minval.az, discussing the growing strategic partnership between China and Azerbaijan.
The interview comes shortly after the state visit of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to China at the invitation of Chairman Xi Jinping — a visit that underscored the momentum behind China–Azerbaijan relations. President Aliyev has also confirmed that he will return to China later this year to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin.
